Prof Raj Reddy to deliver foundation lecture of SIDAR

Visakhapatnam: Prof Raj Reddy, Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, said that a brain storming session on ‘Development of Vizag’ will be held on July 25. Office of Society for Integrated Development and Research  and Gandhi Centre at Dr Lankapalli Bullayya College will be inaugurated.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Prof KC Reddy, President of the SIDAR and former Chairman of the AP State Council of Higher Education, said that the brain storming session would discuss issues relating to the human resource development, water, sanitation, roads, pollution and other problems which are crucial in the development of Visakhapatnam city.  

He said that SIDAR would focus on current issues of importance and recommend policy makers in identifying gaps. Prof Raj Reddy will deliver the first foundation lecture of SIDAR on ‘Creating a humane society using artificial intelligence—reaching the three billion people at the bottom of the pyramid’ at 5-30 pm at Dr YVS Murthy Auditorium in College of Engineering, Andhra University.
