Vice-President to address IIIT students today

Amaravati: Vice-President Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu would address the students of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technology on the IIIT campus at Nuzvidu on Thursday, Chief Secretary Anil Chandra Punetha said while addressing the officials various departments, the district administration and the top brass of the police department at the Secretariat here on Wednesday.

He instructed the IIIT management to make necessary arrangements for the vice-president visit.

Earlier, additional secretary (Protocol) Ashok Babu gave the details of the arrangements to be carried out by various departments in connection with the visit of the dignitary.

Secretary of GAD N Srikanth, Vijayawada Commissioner of Police Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, Krishan district superintendent of police Sarvasreshth Tripathi, ISW SP TR Prasada Rao, Director of Fire services Jayaram Nayak, Krishna district joint collector-II Babu Rao, DME Dr K Babji, Nuzvid sub collector Swapnil Padnakar, Nuzvid IIIT director Prof D Suryachandra Rao, Information department JD P Kiran Kumar and other officials were present.
