Ongole: The Prakasam District Kamma Seva Sangham distributed cheques worth Rs 8 lakh to 20 engineering students and 43 laptops worth Rs 27 lakh to 43 students at a programme held here on Sunday.

Speaking at the programme, AP Technology Services Chairman Mannava Mohana Krishna observed that no donation is greater than the gift of education. He said that the welfare programmes of the Prakasam District Kamma Seva Sangham had inspired him deeply and assured full financial support to the organisation. He praised the 1K Donors Club concept as a worthy initiative. Sangham president Mandava Murali Krishna urged the students who receive help to grow in life and support such programmes in the future.

Sangham founder chairman Dr Kamepalli Sitaramaiah, TDP NRI Wing Australia president Enikapati Venkatesh, Nuziveedu Seeds Group general manager Chintamaneni Yesudasu and other leaders attended the programme.
