All the victims who suffered losses during the floods queued up before the centres to apply for Rs 10,000 flood aid since 4 am today. The government asked the people to apply for the financial assistance after several complained about not providing with the money.

Representatives of the ruling party had distributed the relief aid to the people. However, not all the corners of people received financial aid. For those who have not received the amount, the government asked them to apply through Mee-Seva.

The government will deposit the money into bank accounts of eligible applicants. The details provided by the public will be verified for eligibility and financial assistance will be transferred directly into their bank accounts.
