Impart quality education to students: Collector
Kurnool: District Collector G Veera Pandian on Saturday called upon the teachers to impart quality education besides good habits to students pursuing education at government schools. Participating as a chief guest at Rajanna Badibata programme organised at Zilla Parishad High School in Panchalingala village on Saturday, the Collector said that since the launching of Rajanna Badibata on June 12, that they are highlighting the importance of teaching methods through various means.
The Collector said that the government would create necessary infrastructure in government schools on par with private schools and the teachers need to convince parents to send their children to school without fail. Besides, imparting quality education, he said the students need to educate about good manners and discipline.
Veera Pandian said that he has been requested for drinking water pipeline and a kitchen shed. He assured students to create all sorts of necessary facilities as soon as possible. Kodumur MLA Dr Sudhakar Babu said that the State government was giving importance to education sector.
Under Amma Vodi programme, every parent would be given Rs 15,000 for sending their wards to school. Later, the Collector, MLA and others presented the mementos and commendation certificates to SSC students, who secured good marks.
District Education Officer Tahera Sulatana, SSA Project Officer Tilak Vidya Sagar, School Headmaster Omkar Yadav and Kurnool Tahsildar Srinivasulu participated in the programme.
