Will fill backlog tribal posts soon: Collector

Kurnool: Participating as a chief guest for a programme organised here on the occasion of World Adivasi Day at Sunaina Auditorium on Friday, District Collector G Veera Pandian has promised to resolve all the issues related to Tribal community.

Addressing the meeting, Veera Pandian stated that steps are being taken to fill the backlog posts in Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare departments. He expressed anguish over several tribal families are addicted to bad vices with which the families are languishing in penury.

They should strive to overcome the problems, he exhorted. Kurnool MP S Sanjeev Kumar has said that he would strive to develop the tribal areas through MPLADS funds. Nandikotkur MLA Thoguru Arthur also spoke.
