Governor stresses on pollution free life at the inauguration of AP science congress at BRAU
Srikakulam: AP state governor, Biswa Bhushan Harichandan stressed on pollution-free life of human beings and other living things. He inaugurated fifth AP science congress at BR Ambedkar University (BRAU) at Etcherla in Srikakulam district on Thursday.
Delivering his speech, he expressed serious concern over rising pollution levels in all cities in India. He particularly quotes alarming level of pollution in national capital New Delhi. All kinds of pollution like air, earth, water degrading the quality life of us. Governor explained that Jawans, Kisans are playing a key role in protecting and providing food to us.
"Likewise now scientists need to play a key role in solving of issues," governor appealed. He also suggested young scientists to work hard and got motivated with the challenges posed on us. AP assembly speaker, T. Sitaram, minister for roads and buildings, D. Krishna Das, minister for education, A. Suresh and senior scientists delivered their lectures on the occasion.
