AP Science Congress to promote scientific temper among students, governor to inaugurate at BRAU campus

Srikakulam: AP state level fifth science congress will be inaugurated by the governor, Biswabhushan Harichandan at BR Ambedkar

University (BRAU) campus at Etcherla near Srikakulam city today.

The science congress will be continued for three days till November 30. It consists of discussion on various areas like life sciences, physical science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Agriculture, Medical, Space Technology, Aeronautical Engineering, Earth sciences etc. BRAU vice chancellor, K.Ramji, registrar, K.Raghubabu, director of academic studies, Gunta Tulasi Rao explained that they have received 420 research papers on various aspects of it off which 253 papers are selected and rejected 167 after conducting three tier scrutinies they explained. This time we are going to start novel project to promote 100 more local products through online marketing by tying up with online marketing companies like Amazon, Flip cart, Snap deal etc." University officials explained.

District rural development

agency (DRDA), integrated tribal development authority (ITDA), Girijana cooperative corporation (GCC), mission for elimination of

poverty in municipal areas (MEPMA) have provide their assistance to arrange stalls with local products at the venue. A separate

session will also be held for children especially to promote the scientific temper.
