A woman on a sport bike alleged police that she had asked people in her car to keep a distance from her when she was riding her bike in Gurugram but was hit by a vehicle. It took place on Golf Course Road, and was allegedly recorded on an camera she had strapped to her motorcycle.

The Instagram profile belongs to Sia (rebelwheels_sia_) and her account says that the rider took videos of the incident and posted about it.

On Sunday, she was riding her Aprilia RS 457 with some members of her biking community when it seemed the car started following her, Sia said.

She said the residents were aggressive and when she asked them to stay back, however, she was told to go. Sia also claimed they seemed to be intoxicated.

She tried to keep her horse from blocking her way and kept riding, she said. A fellow traveller who was behind her was also said to have attempted to intervene and bring the car to a halt.

Sia said one of her friends chased the car after the collision in an attempt to stop the driver. She is then said to have been hit by the car, which then drove off.

Sia was said to have been thrown from the bike and her bike dragged several metres along the road.

One of her friends ran after the car following the accident, trying to slow the driver down, she said.

The car was allegedly stopped by a traffic light and the friend confronted the driver and informed him that he caused the accident. But the driver rebutted that and fled the scene, Sia said.

The whole crash was apparently captured on Sia's motorcycle's camera.

After the accident, Sia sought help from the Gurugram Police to take action against the motorists who were putting other road users at risk and were running away from the scene after the accident.

She has also posted the vehicle's registration number and the name of the registered owner in social media.

She termed the incident as an experience which made her feel unsafe in the roads of Gurugram and requested the authorities to look into such incidents.

The video caught on social media and users were in support of the biker and demanding that the driver face the wrath of the people.

Several users tagged the Gurugram Police, Gurugram Traffic Police, Haryana Police and Delhi Police asking them to find out the incident. Others had also demanded an FIR to be filed and questioned on road safety and reckless driving.

Additionally, the biker's claims are investigated by the police.
