All set for mega job mela in Kodad today

Kodad (Suryapet): A mega job fair aimed at providing employment opportunities to educated youth from rural areas will be held in Kodad on Saturday. More than 300 companies are expected to participate in the recruitment drive, offering over 3,500 job opportunities.

The job fair is being organised with the special initiative of Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy and under the coordination of Kodad MLA N Padmavathi Reddy. Singareni Collieries Company Limited and the State Industries Department are extending support for the event.

Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy, and IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu have been invited to attend the programme.

Unemployed youth from Suryapet, Nalgonda, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri, Khammam, and Bhadradri-Kothagudem districts are expected to participate in the job fair.

Candidates will have an opportunity to interact directly with company representatives and attend interviews with multiple employers at a single venue.

Engineering, pharmacy and management graduates, as well as diploma holders and candidates with other educational qualifications, often face difficulties in identifying suitable employment opportunities.

Travelling to cities such as Hyderabad for interviews, difficulty in directly approaching companies and lack of proper information have become major hurdles for rural job seekers. The mega job fair is being organised in Kodad to address these challenges by bringing employers closer to job aspirants.

A similar job fair held at Huzurnagar in October 2025 attracted more than 200 companies and resulted in the selection of around 900 candidates for jobs. Building on the response to that event, the recruitment drive in Kodad is being organised on a much larger scale this time.

Job-seeking youth from the five districts have been urged to make use of the opportunity and attend the mega job fair in large numbers on Saturday to explore employment matching their educational qualifications and skills.
