PanIIT AP Summit-2026 to harness collective strength of 23 IITs

Amaravati: The PanIIT Andhra Pradesh Summit-2026 to be held on October 3 will bring together global IIT alumni, industry leaders and investors to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s capabilities in advanced technology sectors such as quantum computing, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, space, defence, biotechnology, AgriTech and clean energy, said C V Sridhar, director, Amaravati Quantum Valley Mission.

Addressing the media in Amaravati on, he said the two-day summit would create a platform for closer coordination among research institutions, innovators, industry and investors and facilitate long-term technology partnerships in the state. Nearly 1,000 alumni representing all 23 IITs are expected to participate, including over 50 corporate CEOs and senior CXOs, 100-plus unicorn founders and startup leaders, and more than 50 investors, venture capitalists and family offices, besides IIT directors, faculty and policymakers.

Dr Amitabh Ranjan, Vice-Chairman, PanIIT-India, said the organisation represents a global network of around five lakh alumni of the 23 IITs. He said the Andhra Pradesh summit would be the beginning of a sustained partnership aimed at promoting DeepTech, innovation, research and investment in the State.

Summit Chair Swadeep Pillarishetty said the event would connect talent, technology, research, capital and investment with Andhra Pradesh’s development. Discussions would focus on clean energy, quantum technology, AI, BioValley, AgriTech, farmers and water security. The summit would also explore AI and satellite data applications in agriculture, including crop monitoring, land digitisation, improved credit access and AI-based governance.

He said representatives from IITs, JNTU, KL University, SRM University, VIT and NIT Andhra Pradesh would participate. Students, youth and startup founders would get opportunities to interact with entrepreneurs, founders and investors. The proceedings would also be live-streamed.

Summit Co-Chair Rajesh Dasari said the initiative aimed to connect IIT technologies with the Swarna Andhra vision and take DeepTech solutions closer to the people.

State IT Special Secretary Surya Teja, I&PR Commissioner K S Viswanathan, RTGS CEO Prakhar Jain, Ratan Tata Innovation Hub CEO and QubicForce founder L. Venkata Subrahmanyam and others attended.
