Truck rams into toll booth

Toopran: A goods carrier wreak havoc at Allapur toll gate near here on midnight of Monday. The truck rammed into the toll booth. No staff was injured as they ran out of the booth in time. Sub Inspector Subhash reached the spot and tool the stock of the situation. It became difficult to remove the truck to ease the traffic due to construction work which has been going on for several months.

Babu, a passenger stuck in the traffic expressed anger over the negligence of National Highway Authority officials for delaying the road extension works. Passengers and travellers demanded authorities to take appropriate action to avoid such incidents. It may be mentioned here that The Hans India had already published about the dangers due to the road extension works and narrowing of road at the toll gate.
