‘Konda Kona’ of ‘Garividi Lakshmi’ grabs attention

The makers of the upcoming Telugu film ‘Garividi Lakshmi’, which is based on the legendary folk singer Garividi Lakshmi of Andhra Pradesh have released a new song titled ‘Konda Kona Chorus’, which has been creating waves on the social media since its release.

Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Kriti Prasad of People Media Factory, the film stars Anandi in the titular role and is directed by Gauri Naidu Jammu, who wants to present inspiring life and journey of the legendary folk singer.

The new song, which has been written by Charan Arjun, has been composed by the same writer, while the energetic voices of Ananya Bhatt and Charan Arjun have made it more appealing.

With folk music at its core, the song appears to be perfectly in sync with the film’s theme and the central character, who represents the culture of Andhra Pradesh.

The makers have released some promotional content from the film, which has created a lot of positive buzz.

‘Garividi Lakshmi’ intends to go beyond just a biopic by narrating the life and intense emotions of the revered folk singer and delve deeper into her struggles, music and the cultural relevance it holds.

The film also stars Naresh, Raashi, Sharanya Pradeep, Ankit Koyya and Meesala Lakshman in addition to the star cast. Set against the rich folk music and culture, ‘Garividi Lakshmi’ promises to celebrate songs, emotions and self respect of one’s roots.

‘Garividi Lakshmi’ is all set to hit the theatres on October 17.
