TWUJ members take up green challenge at Tandur

Tandur: Likening trees with water, RDO Venumadhava Rao said both are equally important for human beings. He was the chief guest for the plantation programme organised by the journalists at Mandal Parishad office, here on Monday.

Responding to the 'Green Challenge' by the chairman of Telangana Press Academy, Allam Narayana, members of TWUJ took up the initiative under the leadership of constituency president of TUWJ G Ashok Kumar.

Speaking on the occasion, the RDO appreciated the Journalists for coming forward to plant saplings though they were busy in their jobs. MPDO Sudarshan Reddy, APM Narotham Reddy , EOPRD Ratan Singh along with the district convenor of TUWJ G Ravishankar, Venkat, Aleem, Manohar, Narsimhulu, Roop Singh, Jagannadha Reddy, Niranjan, Varaprasad, Ramesh, Sudhakar, Ramchander, Narsimha Reddy, Raju and others were present.
