Police increase vigil against anti-social elements
Mahbubnagar: The Mahbubnagar district police have increased their vigil to keep a tab on the anti-social elements who try to create trouble during upcoming elections.
While speaking at a press meet in Mahabubnagar, Rema Rajeshwari, Superintendent of Police said, “We have got information of each and every person, especially those who are involved in cases and have records in police stations and continuously monitoring their movements.
For keeping peace and tranquillity the police department is taking all necessary steps and the people should also coordinate and abide by the laws for a smooth conduct of election,” said the SP.
During elections, the police have put a special focus by the special department and had prohibited unwanted posts in social media and also no permitting flying of drone cameras without police permission.
The SP said that each and every step taken by the department is to protect law and order and restore peace and tranquillity among the people. The SP also promised not to reveal the information of those who provide vital information about the antisocial elements either to local police stations or dial 100.
