Wanaparthy police seize 32 bikes in cordon and search operation

Wanaparthy: The Wanaparthy police have seized 32 bikes, one auto-rikshaw and a car during a cordon and search operation conducted in Indiranagar Colony of Atmakur mandal on Friday.

The cordon and search operation was lead by Rohini, Superintendent of Police supported by 60 police constables, 5 sub inspectors, 2 circle inspectors and one Deputy Superintendent of Police. 

During the cordon and search operation the police cordoned off all the routes leading to Indiranagar and search was conducted in each and every house. During the search the police found 32 bikes without proper documents and seized one auto-rickshaw and a car.

SP Rohini said, “we are conducting the cordon and search operations to ensure safety of the people and we are keeping a check on the anti-social elements. Therefore, the people must also be vigilant and should inform to the police if they find anyone carrying out any anti-social activity.”
