Archer Jayasruthi for nationals
Bhimavaram: Jayasruthi of Westberry School here has stood in first place in state-level under-19 archery selections held at Vijayawada on February 2. She became eligible to represent the state at the national-level competitions.
According to the school principal, Gujjula Sunita, Jayasruthi will take part in national-level archery competitions held at Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) on February 10, 11 and 12.
A meeting to felicitate Jayasruthi was held at the school in which the teaching staff and students congratulated her.
The school director, Mahesh Kumar wished that she would bring name and fame to the school and the district at national-level by winning the national competition. Coach Gopal Gandhi and other were present.
