Sudarsana Sarma appointed Vice-Chancellor of Vedic varsity

Tirupati: Prof Sannidhanam Sudarsana Sarma of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara Vedic University in Tirupati. The Governor and Chancellor of the University ESL Narasimhan has issued orders to this effect on Tuesday.

The post of V-C of Vedic University was lying vacant since July 31, 2017 after Prof KE Devanathan relinquished the office at the end of his three-year term. Prof Sudarsana Sarma was the first Vice-Chancellor of Vedic University and served for two successive terms.

The present appointment will be his third term as V-C of the same university. Presently, he has been working as Professor of Sahitya at RSVP and he will continue in the post for three years.
