RSVP convocation ceremony begins in Tirupati on Sunday
Tirupati: The 23rd convocation of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) began in Tirupati on Sunday. Chancellor and former Chief Election Commissioner N Gopala Swami, Vice-Chancellor and Prof V Muralidhara Sharma have participated.
Supreme Court senior lawyer and Chief Guest of the event PS Narasimha has addressed the gathering. Four eminent scholars in Sanskrit - Prof R Sundararama Vajapayi, Prof S Venkata Rangaramanujacharyulu, Prof A Haridasa Bhatt and Prof Sripada Subramanyam will be presented Mahamahopadhyaya degree.
And the Prof Betavolu Ramabrahmam, Vidwan Janardhan Hegde, Dr HR Viswas and Prof Penna Madhusudan will be awarded Vachaspati degree. A total of 494 candidates will be receiving various degrees in the convocation.
