Maoist Muda linked with 15 incidents held by East Godavari police

Kakinada: A 32-year-old  Maoist Podiyam Muda alias Mallesh alias Nanda  associated with  15 incidents  of exchange of fire was arrested   by Yetapaka and ChinturSub-Division police in East Godavari district on Sunday.  

Disclosing the details to media persons at District Police Office here on Monday East Godavari SP, Vishal Gunni said that Muda is an illiterate, a native of Atulpara village of Sukuma district in Chhattisgarh and   belongs to  Gothikoya community.  The arrested Maoist is married and has four children.  He took up Maoist activities as he was influenced by Deva, commander of Dornapal L. O. S.

The SP revealed that Muda had involved in 15 incidents including the  Giram  Ghat under Dharbha  PS  limits in  Sukuma district  in June  2014 in which 2 8 CRPF  jawans were killed.  

He also involved in the attack at Bejji in which 12 CRPF jawans were killed; in  2017 at Burkhanpal  and in  2018  at Palodi in Sukhuma district in which  26 and 9 CRPF jawans were   killed in the ambush.  

The SP complimented the staff and officers of Chintur Sub-Division and Yetapaka   police for arresting the Maoist.    OSD of Yetapaka K.K. N.Amburajan,  DSP  Chintur , O. Dilip  Kiran, and Kishan Salam, Deputy Commandant  of CRPF were present.
