Use social media to promote Sanskrit says RSVP Vice Chancellor V Muralidhara Sharma
Tirupati: Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidya Peetha (RSVP) Vice Chancellor V Muralidhara Sharma called upon Sanskrit teachers and students to make effective use of social media like facebook for promoting the ancient language Sanskrit in a big way.
He was speaking at the valedictory of `Sanskrit Navaraatra Festival’ held for nine days in RSVP to promote Sanskrit in many novel ways.
Marking the occasion, Muralidhara Sharma and President’s Awardee Prof K Ramasuryanarayana launched Vidayapeetha’s official “Digital social media cell” in which Vidyapeeth’s “YouTube, instagram, telegram, WhatsApp and Sanskrit learning packages” will be available for Sanskrit lovers world over.
Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions held as part of the Navaraatra festival.
