Jagan trying to gain public sympathy by releasing open letters: Yanamala Ramakrishnudu
Amaravati: Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was trying to gain sympathy from public by releasing open letters and blaming the TDP for his corruption. In a press release here on Saturday, Yanamala alleged that Jagan had put his corrupt money in the account of his wife Bharati and hence the Enforcement Directorate had issued notices to her and there was nothing wrong in it.
He demanded that Jaganmohan Reddy should explain to public whether the involvement of his family members was there in the scams (money-laundering cases) or not. Ramakrishnudu clarified that there was no role of to the TDP in issuing of summons to Jaganmohan Reddy’s wife YS Bharati by the ED in the money laundering cases. He said that it was not correct to blame the TDP for the news published by some newspapers and maintained that the papers would publish articles based on their information.
The Finance Minister flayed Jaganmohan Reddy for trying to gain political advantage through the ED cases filed against his wife Bharati. He said that Jaganmohan Reddy did not clarify if that there was no involvement of his wife in the alleged corruption of about Rs 43,000 crore.
