Amaravati: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was reportedly upset over high expenditure incurred to public exchequer on root canal treatment of Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu.

During a party core meeting on Friday at grievance hall at Undavalli, Chandrababu Naidu observed the leaders that it might not happened, according to sources in the party.

On the other hand, the TDP leaders were trying to defend the Finance Ministers by saying that it was a sudden and unexpected illness when Ramakrishnudu was in Singapore.

Official Spokesperson Lanka Dinakar said in a press statement that, Ramakrsishnudu underwent dental treatment at AP Dental Hospital, Road No 10, Jublie Hills, Hyderabad, by Dr. Kadiyala Rajendra before his official trip to Singapore.

He further said that the treatment was incomplete due to time constraint to rush to Singapore official trip.

Dinakar said that, after Ramakrishnudu reached Singapore, unfortunately he faced unbearable pain and hence, he admitted immediately in Singapore. He said that the Finance Minister underwent Flap Surgery & Bone Grafting in Singapore. He suggested that, this could be verified through Kadiyala Rajendra for facts.

As far as costing is concerned, it is high side in Singapore as they charge around 4000 to 5000 Dollars for this treatment.

The Spokesperson further said that Ramakrishnudu went to Singapore with the commitment to discharge his duties on behalf of AP Government, though his treatment had in progress just before starting to Singapore.

In addition to that, Finance Minister required 4 caps to be installed to his tooth, but he did not take in Singapore and get treatment for that in Hyderabad, Dinakar informed.

Meanwhile, AP SC Corporation Chairman Jupudi Prabhakara Rao in a press conference said that Ramakrishnudu underwent the treatment on emergency grounds. The cost was so high since it was in Singapore and the hospital charged like that and nothing to do with the amount that we spent there, he observed.
