Curb thefts with LHMS

Eluru: M Ravi Prakash, Superintendent of Police, West Godavari district has directed the police officials to take up a campaign on the setting up of Locked House Monitoring System (LHMS) at apartments, houses and commercial complexes in the district.

He conducted the monthly crime review meeting with the police officials in the district at district police office here on Wednesday. Speaking at the meeting, the SP directed the officials to set up CC cameras in main centres under various police station jurisdictions and monitor those cameras through control rooms. This would enable the officials for quicker investigation of crimes. 

The SP directed the officials to set up teams to implement non-bailable warrants which were kept pending for quite some time. He also directed the officials to clear the trees and bushes that were obstructing the traffic on highways. He also instructed them to arrange radium liner drums on the roads to control the vehicles’ speed to avoid accidents. 

The SP asked the officials to take up the Wash and Drive programmes in the night time to the drivers which would also control the early hours' fatal accidents.  He instructed the officials to take up visible policing in the evening time to trace the whereabouts of the criminals. 

Additional SP V Ratna, AR DSP VS Vasan, DSPs K Eswara Rao, Ch Muralikrishna,  K Venkateswara Rao, T Prabhakara Babu, Srinivasa Rao,  Nunna Muralikrishna, Pydeswara Rao, K Bhaskara Rao, T Satyanarayana M Srinivasa Rao, SB CI S Kondala Rao, DCRB CI GV Krishna Rao and other police officials attended the meeting.
