Moula Ali: The officials of Heritage Telangana (formerly the Department of Archaeology & Museums) visited the Moula Ali Kaman and took measurements of the damaged parapet wall. Officials say that the structure is still intact and strong and needs minor repairs. A senior official said that only 10 per cent of the structure needs repairs.

Following the collapse of Moula-ali Kaman's upper portion of the structure, the public travelling in their four wheelers and other heavy vehicles need to take another route.

One of the reasons behind the collapse of the structure is assumed to be the constant vehicular traffic passing through the kaman that has caused cracks due to the vibrations. Keeping this in mind, the police officials stopped four-wheelers and other heavy vehicles from passing through the kaman.

Yusuf Ali, a local retailer, said, "As soon as the top portion crumbled on Monday, traffic police officials have stopped the four-wheelers and other heavy vehicles from passing through the kaman. Everyday approximately after 6 pm, traffic volume soars, which makes it difficult for us as it causes a lot of pollution."

Md Wajeed, a resident of the area, said, "People who travel through this area do not pay attention to the historic significance of the structure. Especially, the auto drivers do not follow the rules while driving.

There were many cracks on the structure. I do not think that the department responsible for the maintenance and management of the historical structure has paid much attention to it and thus because of the thunderstorm, the upper portion of the structure collapsed. Taking action now after the incident is causing trouble to the people travelling from this area."

V Yadgiri, a traffic police constable, said that it was important to stop the movement of four-wheelers and other heavy vehicles. He explained that the vibrations caused by the vehicular traffic passing through the kaman was one of the main reasons for the collapse. For a particular span of time, only two-wheelers and autos would be allowed to pass through the Kaman, he added.
