Malla Reddy lays stone for development works
Peerjadiguda: Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy along with Peerjadiguda Municipal Commissioner Vani Reddy laid foundation stone for various development works costing Rs 2.3 crore at Parvathapur, Medipally and Peerjadiguda on Friday.
He lauded Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his able administration. "The government has been sanctioning funds without compromising for various development including CC roads, drainage works, community halls, beautification of tanks and parks. Municipalities on the outskirts are holding forefront position in development. A plan has been designed for setting up dump yard in 10 acres land. Development works costing Rs 25 crore have been executed so far," he added.
He directed officials concerned to provide all the amenities to colonies under the municipality. He called upon everyone to take part in Haritha Haram programme and plant saplings. He said he would ensure allocation of funds for further developments to be taken up.
Tahsildar Lavanya, TRS leaders Durga Dayakar Reddy, Jakka Venkat Reddy, Ugender Reddy, T Sridhar Reddy, Manoranjan Reddy, Anji Reddy, Pochaiah Yadav, Koppula Eashwar Reddy, B Krishna Goud, B Mohan Reddy, Bukya Ramdas Naik and others were present.
