KCR's historic fast led to TS formation: MLA Muta Gopal

Musheerabad: Commemorating 10 years of the day on which the Telangana CM KCR started his famous fast-un-to-death, 'Deeksha Diwas' was celebrated at Andhra Café crossroads of Gandhinagar division on Friday.

Local MLA Muta Gopal and other local TRS leaders participated in the celebrations. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that the dream of Telangana was achieved with the hunger strike started by KCR during Telangana agitation, risking his life for the cause.

Praising the efforts of the CM KCR, the MLA said that the CM has been striving to address various issues of the state and leading the state on the path of growth and development, apart from being instrumental in forming the new state. Describing KCR as visionary, he said that no other state had initiated so many welfare schemes as Telangana. Thanks to the able leadership of the CM, the state stood among the top states in terms of the development, he said.

Local corporator Muta Padma, TRS leaders Naresh, Muta Jaisimha, Erram Srinivas Gupta, R Moses, M Prabhakar, Rakesh Kumar, Satyanarayana, Akula Srinivas, Arunasri, Swarupa and others attended the program.
