TRS govt committed to minority welfare: MLA Muta Gopal
Ramnagar: Musheerabad MLA Muta Gopal said that the TRS government had taken several initiatives for the welfare of minorities. He was speaking at a felicitation programme organised by Progressive Mehdavia Musheerabad here on Monday. The MLA Muta local corporator V Srinivas Reddy were felicitated at the programme for sanctioning Rs 24 lakh for development of Pahadi Dargah and appointing Wahid Ali as Ramnagar TRS minority wing president.
Addressing a meeting, the MLA said that the state government was committed to the welfare of minorities and initiated several programmes and schemes for the minorities. He said that the party would work together with minorities in developing the constituency. Congratulating Wahil Ali, Muta Gopal praised him for his sincere efforts to ensure that minorities avail of the various welfare schemes introduced by the state government.
Progressive Mehdavia Musheerabad director Rehan Khan, TRS leaders R Mallesham, MutaJaisimha, SirigiriShyam, Prakash Reddy, several minority leaders of the area and others attended the programme.
