GHMC officials conduct inspections in LB Nagar

Kapra: GHMC LB Nagar Zonal Commissioner R Upender Reddy on Friday toured several areas in wards along with Deputy Commissioner Sailaja and engineering, sanitation and horticulture officials.

Addressing the transportation officials in Mallapur, Reddy directed the staff to regularly clear garbage so as to create a pleasant atmosphere in the area. He advised the horticulture wing officials to plant saplings and promote greenery.

The ZC advised officials to create awareness among local residents to dump garbage only in bins provided by the GHMC in business establishments and main roads.

He told the staff to pay special attention to the use of plastic items by the public and seek their cooperation and create the ideal atmosphere for ensuring its total ban so that the environment could be protected.

Among those who accompanied ZC during the tour were EE Koteswara Rao, AMHO H Maitreyi, DE Balkishan, Horticulture Manager Satyanarayanamma, Transco AE Ganga Prasad, Engineering AEs, SS Dhan Goud.
