Swamy Sivananda scholarships presented to RSVP students in Tirupati

Tirupati: Swamy Sivananda memorial scholarships instituted by Divine Life Society, Haridwar have been presented to the students of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP), Tirupati.

At a function held in Vidyapeetha on Sunday, Registrar Prof GSR Krishna Murthy said that the objective of Sanskrit literature is social wellbeing only. Towards this goal, Swamy Sivananda's Divine Life Society has been giving away scholarships to the students of RSVP who excel in their respective fields.

Students who scored highest marks in MA – Acharya from the departments of Sahitya, Vyakarana, Nyaya, Adwaitha, Dwaitha, Visishtadwaitha and Veda Bhashya have been presented Rs.5000 each as scholarship by Swami Sivananda Ashram.

The programme was organised by Vagwardhini Parishat Coordinator Dr S Muralidhara Rao while Additional Coordinator Dr Niranjan Mithra, Dr PTJ Ranga Ramanuja Acharyulu and others participated.
