Seven school buses seized

Guntur: Transport department officials inspected buses of educational institutions on the occasion of beginning of academic year and seized seven buses failing to fulfil the vehicle fitness norms. The officials booked cases against owners of two buses.

In an official statement, the transport department informed that so far officials seized 32 buses for not maintaining the standards and added that they will continue their vehicle fitness inspection. They warned against operating buses without vehicle fitness certificates.
