Make success of Kanipakam Brahmotsavams: Chittoor MP

Chittoor: To review arrangements for the ensuing Brahmotsavams in Kanipakam, temple Executive Officer (EO) P Purnachandra Rao has convened a meeting in which elected representatives and officials took part on Friday.

Addressing the meeting, Chittoor MP N Reddappa has directed the officials to ensure all facilities are provided to the devotees. He made it clear to officials concerned not to entertain political obligations. The MP stated that more than 2 lakh devotees are expected to take part in the ensuing Brahmotsavams.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is keen on developing Kanipakam temple on all fronts, he stressed. Reddappa asked RTC authorities to run additional services from various towns and cities to the Kanipakam temple for Brahmotsavams.

Joint Collector D Markandeyulu has explained the significance of the event and the steps being taken during the 21-day fete. Puthalapattu MLA MS Babu and others participated in the meeting.
