Govt insulted CS, says Brahmin body in Guntur

Guntur: AP Brahmana Chaitanya Vedika state co-convener Siripurapu Sridhar lashed out at the YSRCP government for humiliating Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam by shunting him out from the post because he hailed from the Brahmin community.

Addressing the media here on Tuesday, he said it was an insult to all the Brahmins. He said that such a thing never happened any other State. He condemned the act of state government.

He further said that Subrahmanyam was against giving endowments lands to the YSRCP activists and rejected the move. He said that Subrahmanyam had transferred employees belonging to other religions from the TTD.

He threatened the government to stage dharnas if anybody tries to grab the lands belonging to the Endowments Department. He demanded that the YSRCP government tender an apology to L V Subrahmanyam, for shunting him out unceremoniously.
