AP RGUKT CET 2020 entrance exam postponed to December 5 amid heavy rains
With the impact of Nivar cyclone in Andhra Pradesh, the entrance examination for the admissions into RGUKT AP was postponed. RGUKT convener D Hari Narayana said in a statement that the state-wide IIIT exam will be cancelled tomorrow due to lack of conducive environment for conducting the examination in the cyclone-hit districts.
He said that the examination scheduled for tomorrow will be conducted on December 5. However, the convenor made it clear that there would be no change in the matter of hall tickets and examination centres which were already issued. Students who want to appear for the exam are advised to reach the test centres at least two hours in advance with any of the identity cards.
Meanwhile, the cyclone Nivar has vastly affected the normal life in Andhra Pradesh especially in Rayalaseema districts Chittoor, Kadapa and in Nellore and Prakasam districts with many of the people become houseless and crops being damaged. Few people have died of floods in Chittoor and Kadapa.
