This episode starts exploring the possibility of survival among the uninitiated yet. This opens the doors to the solutions while questions remain on the whole. The real interesting aspect is that the writing in this episode takes top cake than suspenseful nature of the story.
The pace doesn't hurt us as the things don't try to stop and explain everything. Baran bo Odar in this episode lets the story take the audience forward than his technique. He at times appears as a director who is consumed by his penchant to tell the story in his style and not bother about who is following him.
But as he does have 4 more episodes to deliver on everything else, he decides to give us more time to consume the ideas that are religious and prophecies that may or may not be right. It talks more about the motivations of different characters and we end up appreciating his deft touch in handling drama with this episode.
Like in season 1, here too he considers the middle episodes as his best bet to slow down the things and not be in a hurry to reach the end point. He also says to that by this if you're not interested and invested then you will never be. The character motivations and the development revealed throughout this episode is highly key for next season, one feel so.
Without revealing what happens the story has a deeper twist than what we have seen till date and one feels the tension among the characters too rising with every passing moment. Time becomes the biggest issue in a Time travel story, quite fascinatingly!
