Bhatti Vikaramarka announces Rs. 1 cr bhima to govt. employees

Telangana Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka announced today that the government has introduced a historic Rs 1 crore insurance scheme for employees, with no financial burden on the beneficiaries.

He stated that a total of 12,91,056 employees and pensioners will benefit from this scheme. The coverage includes 5,18,293 regular employees, along with 5,00,158 contract, outsourcing, and temporary staff. Additionally, 2,72,600 pensioners and family pensioners will also be covered.

Bhatti Vikramarka emphasized that this initiative marks a major step in ensuring financial security for public sector workers and pensioners across the state.
