20% discount for early taxpayers

Vikarabad: District Collector Masrat Khanam Aisha has said that early property tax payers will be given a tax rebate of 20%.

The collector conducted a review meeting on property tax collection at collectorate here on Monday. She said that a total of 88% property tax has been collected in Vikarabad region, 98% in Tandur and 63% in surrounding villages.

Masrat Khanam advised the officials to collect the remaining payments on war footing. The collector also told the officials to pay special focus on sanitation. She instructed them to ensure the collection of dry and wet waste separately. She advised officials to ban plastic.
