Vijay Gifts Miniature Race Car To Ajith Kumar At Le Mans Race In Silverstone

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor C Joseph Vijay and actor Ajith Kumar shared a warm reunion at the Le Mans race in Silverstone, England, where Ajith competed with his racing team. Vijay, who attended the event to wave the ceremonial green flag, gifted Ajith a miniature race car and described him as his “lovely brother”.

The meeting between the two Tamil cinema stars drew considerable attention, particularly among their fans in the UK. Vijay was accompanied by actor Trisha Krishnan and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Aadhav Arjuna during the event.

Vijay Gifts Miniature Race Car To Ajith

Photographs from the event showed Vijay and Ajith shaking hands and posing together. Vijay had signed the miniature race car with a personal message for Ajith, reading, “Priyamudan (With Love) Vijay to my lovely brother Ajith.”

Ajith accepted the gift and thanked Vijay for the gesture. In return, Ajith presented Vijay with a helmet carrying a short message from him: “Love Ajith.”

Ajith also competed in the race, which featured 44 participants. He finished 38th overall.

Vijay Hugs Ajith Ahead Of The Race

The reunion became one of the most talked-about moments of the event after videos showed Vijay walking towards Ajith and hugging him with a broad smile before the race.

The interaction was particularly notable because Vijay and Ajith have long been considered two of Tamil cinema's biggest stars, with sections of their fan bases engaging in rivalries over the years.

At one point, fans in the stands began chanting “TVK”. Vijay appeared to gesture towards them, encouraging them to cheer for Ajith instead.

After waving the green flag to officially start the race, Vijay watched the event from a balcony. Trisha Krishnan and Aadhav Arjuna later joined him there. Trisha was also seen with Vijay and Ajith at their tent before the race.

Fans React To Vijay-Ajith Reunion

The presence of both stars at the same racing event generated significant excitement among fans. The images and videos of their interaction quickly circulated online, with many fans focusing on their friendly exchange rather than the long-running rivalry associated with their respective fan groups.

Sports commentators also drew comparisons between Vijay and Ajith and major Hollywood stars such as Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise while discussing their popularity.

Meanwhile, Ajith was last seen alongside with Trisha in Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly. Additionally, Jana Nayagan, Vijay's most recent movie, debuted in theaters in July following delays caused by censorship concerns and an internet leak.
