Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB), powered by a brace from Seshe Gowda BM, cruised to a comfortable 5-1 win over Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in their Pool D match of the 6th Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship 2026 at Gachibowli Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.

Railways made a flying start, scoring twice in the opening five minutes. Rohit converted a penalty corner in the third minute before Arshdeep Singh struck a field goal two minutes later. Manoj Yadav pulled one back for CISF from a penalty corner in the 11th minute, but Seshe Gowda restored Railways’ two-goal cushion in the 13th. Gowda completed his brace with another penalty-corner conversion in the 26th minute, before Pardeep Singh made it 5-1 in the 33rd. Railways then comfortably protected their lead. In Pool B, Sports Authority of India (SAI) defeated Punjab & Sind Bank 3-1. Nitesh Sharma (29th), Deepak Singh Fartyal (32nd) and Shivam Patel (43rd) scored for SAI, while Sukhwinder Singh (34th) replied for PSB.

All India Police Sports Control Board beat Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) 3-1 in Pool C, with goals from Dharamvir Singh (8th), Shamsher Singh (20th) and Vijay Kumar Gond (56th). Machaiah Pa scored CBDT’s consolation goal in the 57th.

In Pool A, Central Secretariat drew 1-1 with Punjab National Bank. Gursimran Singh gave PNB the lead in the 34th minute, while Aniket Gurav equalised in the 46th.
