Nellore: A city corporator has been sentenced to 5 years jail by the 8th Additional District and Sessions Judge Court on Thursday for attempting to rape a government teacher working in the district.
The woman lodged a complaint with the police in 2014 that corporator of 53rd division Devarakonda Ashok had attempted rape on her in a hotel. Court pronounced judgment on Thursday.
