Rajamahendravaram: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad district president Dr Karri Rama Reddy has said that Mana Gudi programme will be held across the district for four days from August 23. The programme was aimed to clean the temple and its adjacent areas.

Speaking to reporters at Press Club here on Tuesday, he said 1,050 temples were selected for Mana Gudi programme and on the first day of the programme (on August 23), the programme will be held in 10 selected temples in the district and the programme will be held in all the 1050 temples on August 26, the celestial Sravana Purnima day.

The ten selected temples are Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Gannavaram, Vaishnavalayam and Lankuru Ramalayam in Sitanagaram, Ramalayam in Nehru Nagar and Innispeta in Rajamahendravaram, Ramalayam in P Donthamuru, Ramalayam in Addateegala, Venugopala Swamy Temple, Samalkot and Ramalayam in Amalapuram.

On the first day of Mana Gudi programme, Alaya Suddhi programme will be held, followed by Vara Lakshmi Vratams on August 24 and Bhajana and religious discourses on August 25, he said. He appealed to the people to participate in the celestial programme in huge numbers.
