Chirala: The management of St Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology in Chirala announced that various companies conducted a mega job mela and off campus recruitment drive at their college with the cooperation MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan and Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation on Wednesday.
The college secretary, Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and Correspondent S Lakshmana Rao said that as asked earlier about 2164 candidates were registered with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation but only 1583 participated in the job mela .
The college principal Dr P Ravi Kumar said that 19 companies from four categories including Genpact, Tech Mahindra, IGS, TBSS, Karvy, Polaris (Gama Process), Johnson Lifts etc participated in the mela.
Amanchi Krishna Mohan, appreciated the college management and the APSSDC for conducting the recruitment drive for the candidates in the rural area. He wished all of the participating candidates get a job and asked the APSSDC to keep track on the selected candidates whether they were joining the jobs or leaving them in few days.
