New Delhi: REC observes Vigilance Awareness Month
REC Limited, a Navratna NBFC focusing on power sector financing and development, observed “Vigilance Awareness Week 2019” from October 28 to November 2, as directed by the Central Vigilance Commission, to create awareness against the threat posed by corruption and make citizens conscious of their choices.
New Delhi: REC Limited, a Navratna NBFC focusing on power sector financing and development, observed "Vigilance Awareness Week 2019" from October 28 to November 2, as directed by the Central Vigilance Commission, to create awareness against the threat posed by corruption and make citizens conscious of their choices. The theme of Vigilance Awareness Week was "Integrity-A way of life". As part of the initiative, a month long event filled with various activities was organized by the company.
REC organised Intra School Crayon Painting and Paragraph Writing and Inter College Nukkad Natak competitions in Delhi. A nation-wide selfie competition was also organised on social media to promote integrity amongst the youth. Competitions like Quiz, Story Telling, Painting, Selfie and Collage Making were organised for employees and family members of REC.
To strengthen integrity within the company, young executives were exposed to a session on self-evaluation and team building through outbound experiential learning session and seminars on Consumer Awareness and RTI were organised at REC's regional offices. Apart from this, REC has continued its endeavour to groom young school children into vigilant citizens through the "Integrity Club" which has 32 member schools all over India.
