DDMA likely to reimpose Rs 500 fine for not wearing mask in Delhi
The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) is likely to make the mask mandatory at public places in Delhi along with a fine for not wearing the same.
New Delhi: Along with many states across the country, the risk of corona virus is increasing once again in the national capital Delhi.In view of the rising graph of Corona, a meeting was organized by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority on Wednesday.
The current situation of Corona was reviewed in the meeting. Along with this, some important decisions were also taken to deal with Covid-19. DDMA has once again made wearing of masks mandatory in the capital amid worrying situation due to rising cases of Covid. Not only this, there is also a provision for action against those who violate the mask rule.
The meeting was held in the presence of Delhi's Lieutenant Governor (LG) Anil Baijal, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain and many other officials.In this meeting, it was decided to take necessary steps to deal with Corona.
The rising graph of corona virus has increased everyone's concern. In Delhi, more than 500 people are getting infected with Covid-19 continuously.In such a situation, after an important meeting of DDMA, it has been decided to re-implement some restrictions.
Decisions taken in DDMA meeting:-
-In view of the situation of Covid-19, the mask has again been made mandatory.
-Now once again those who do not wear masks will be fined 500.
-Covid-testing will be done on a large scale in the city.
-More emphasis has been placed on vaccination
- Covid 19 manual will be prepared for schools in consultation with experts.
At the same time, it has been decided not to close the schools even after the children were found infected in the schools.Not only this, at present no restrictions have been imposed regarding social programs or celebrations,But the government will keep a close watch on this. As soon as it is necessary, guidelines will be issued regarding this too.
