AICC observer tells party men to work for securing victory in MLC polls

AICC Observer Ravindra Das at a preparatory meeting in Wanaparthy
Wanaparthy: AICC observer Ravindra Das has called upon party leaders and activists to work in coordination, with the primary goal of securing a victory in the graduates’ MLC elections. He urged them to take responsibility for the party’s success and to place special focus on the voter registration process for graduates.
He was addressing a preparatory meeting for the Hyderabad–Rangareddy–Mahbubnagar Graduates’ MLC elections here under the leadership of DCC president Shiva Sena Reddy.
Chairing the meeting, Sena Reddy instructed party leaders, mandal presidents and booth-level agents to work in coordination at the grassroots level to accelerate the voter registration. He instructed them to ensure registration of at least 500 graduates as voters in each mandal; at least 1,000 graduates in each municipality. Reddy urged leaders to take special initiative to ensure that every eligible graduate is granted the right to vote.
With the Special Summary Revision (SSR) process nearing the final stage, Reddy advised party ranks to remain vigilant. He emphasised the need to carefully scrutinise the electoral rolls and act responsibly to ensure that rights of eligible voters are not compromised. He requested leaders and activists from Telangana to participate in the ‘Vote Bachao – Desh Bachao’ protest to be held in Delhi on November 1. He called upon the cadre in the district to join the struggle, to support Rahul Gandhi’s leadership.
Local MLA Thudi Megha Reddy, Parliamentary constituency in-charge Siddeshwar and ‘SIR’ (graduate voter registration) process coordinator Shatru Rao Bujji attended.
