TTD chief urges SVBC to achieve financial self-sufficiency

Tirupati: TTD Chairman BR Naidu has urged employees of Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) to strive for financial self-sufficiency. The meeting, held at SVBC office in Tirupati on Friday, was attended by TTD Board members, SVBC Chairman B Sridhar Varma, TTD JEO and SVBC CEO Dr A Sarath and other officials.

Chairman Naidu emphasised that revenue must be increased by securing more advertisements in line with the channel’s guidelines and called for strengthening the marketing department. Officials briefed him on current live broadcasts, programmes and upcoming initiatives.

SVBC Chairman Sridhar Varma thanked Naidu, board members and officials for their support. He said plans were underway to purchase infrastructure and equipment currently rented from outside sources. Discussions would focus on generating revenue for TTD through various channels and ensuring all SVBC activities become profitable in accordance with regulations. He also announced steps to strengthen social media wing to highlight the glory of the Lord, festivals, devotee facilities and events at TTD-affiliated temples.
