KIMS doctors perform critical surgery, save woman
Nellore: Doctors of KIMS Hospital, Nellore, saved a woman by doing a critical surgery, who has been suffering from uterine prolapse. Kora Pushpamma (68), a resident of Doravarisatram mandal in Tirupati district, admitted the hospital with symptoms such as pain in right hypochondriac region and indigestion.
After diagnosing the problem as uterine prolapse, a team of specialists comprising Surgical Gastroenterologist Dr K Uday Shankar Reddy, senior Urologist Dr Ch Suresh Kumar Reddy and senior Gynecologist Dr Rekha successfully performed three major procedures - laparoscopic cholecystectomy, cystocele repair and TLH. The patient is now in stable condition and is recovering well.
The doctors at KIMS Hospital said that they have a highly experienced medical team available to treat such complex medical conditions.
