Khammam: BRS Parliamentary Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra strongly condemned the remarks made by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at a public meeting in Sircilla, describing his comments as objectionable.
Ravichandra alleged that Revanth Reddy was resorting to personal criticism against former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and BRS working president K T Rama Rao as he was unable to take them on politically.
He claimed that despite extensive publicity for the Chief Minister’s Sircilla visit, people showed little interest in attending the meeting and alleged that the programme was a failure.
Ravichandra further alleged that Revanth Reddy was lowering the dignity of the Chief Minister’s office through what he described as baseless allegations and personal attacks. He said the contribution of the previous BRS government, led by KCR and KTR, to Telangana’s development was known to the people.
The BRS leader also alleged that the Congress government had failed to fulfil its election promises during its tenure, while targeting the principal Opposition party, which he said had been continuously raising public issues.
He alleged that the government had spent heavily on advertisements and publicity but had not clearly stated what it intended to do for the development of Sircilla district.
Ravichandra claimed that people were dissatisfied with the Revanth.
