TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was arrested in Nandyal by CID police in the wee hours of Saturday. It was learnt that the police informed Naidu that they are taking him into custody in the skill development scam. There was a high drama in Nandyal from the midnight of Friday. Police officials started mobilising the personnel from the neighbouring district. They restricted TDP cadres at several places preventing them from reaching the RK function hall in the town where Naidu was staying.

Chandrababu sent to judicial custody till September 22 in skill development scam
VIJAYAWADA: Additional District-cum-ACB Court judge Himabindu sent former chief minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu to judicial custody till September 22. Immediately after the judge announced the judgement, the counsel for Nara Chandrababu Naidu filed bail petition.

Vijayawada: Putting and end to high level anxiety over the arrest of Chandrababu, the ACB court today delivered judgement ordering 14 days remand to Chandrababu. Chandrababu will be sent to Rajahmundry central jail.

ACB Court reserves judgment in Chandrababu case
Vijayawada: Additional District Judge Himabindu after hearing the arguments of additional advocate general Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy and counsel for Chandrababu Naidu Siddharth Luthra reserved the judgement in skill development case filed against the former chief minister.
