EIMR Business School - A Student-to-Startup Founder Achievement Story

Storyphy is a student-led venture of EIMR Business School. For every startup, there will be a moment of curiosity. For Storyphy, that moment came on the very first day of college, when two students, Diwakar and Aravind, met each other. Both came from different backgrounds, the one thing connect them instantly was their shared interest in building meaningful things.
At EIMR's Facelift Challenge, students are encouraged to identify the problems and find solutions. The ideas started with a simple yet powerful question: How can reading be more engaging for children? This laid the foundation, which later became Storyphy.
Diwakar’s Entrepreneurial Journey
The entrepreneurial journey of Diwakar had begun way before college. In class 12, he started a student-led initiative aiming at financial literacy and entrepreneurial thinking among young minds, named Zillionaires. This exposure strengthened his interest in creative strategy and business building. He launched an e-commerce venture named Namma Angadi, which became his practical learning experience.
As a BBA Entrepreneurship student, his involvement in his family business played a crucial role in shaping his understanding of sales, communication, and market execution. These helped him to appreciate the importance of storytelling, not just as a branding tool, but also as a way of connecting emotionally with the people. This idea goes along with the technical skills of Aravind.
Aravind’s Technical Vision
Aravind, as a BCA AI & ML student, brought strong capabilities in designing and product development. With a strong background in AI and machine learning, they think beyond conventional storytelling and explore how the technologies can personalize the learning experiences. Aravind's ability to convert the ideas into a functional digital product plays a major role in transforming Storyphy from the concept into a working solution.
Storyphy: Where Ideas Became Reality
With Diwakar and Aravind's technical, development, creativity, and marketing skills, Storyphy was born. It is an AI-powered personalized storybook where children become the heroes of their own story. Placing the child as the center of attraction, Storyphy creates an engaging experience for children. This encourages imagination, emotional connection, and a stronger interest in reading at an early stage.
Aarulii's Book was one of the standout creations of Storyphy. This demonstrates how imagination and AI technology work together to make meaningful stories. This reflects their belief that learning should be personal, joyful, and relevant. What makes Storyphy unique is not the products, but the journey behind them.
The classroom discussion between two students turned into a scalable platform that redefines the reading experience of children. This stands as a testament to curiosity, failure becomes learning, ideas become action, and education beyond textbooks. For Diwakar and Aravind, the journey continues.
